Madrid-based Carlos Rodriguez is the famed Spanish dancer, choreographer, artistic director, and co-founder of Nueva Ballet Español. He will perform along with his eight-person company of musicians and dancers Bendita, which brilliantly blends original flamenco music (performed live) with Spanish dance styles ranging from Fandangos to Rumbas.
Chef Johnny Hernandez creates a dinner worthy of the occasion — complete with a Paella cooking demonstration. The evening begins with passed Spanish tapas — Manchego con membrillo, Gazpacho shooters, and Croquettas de Jamón — and dinner is served family-style. The menu features a tomato and caper salad, Paella Valenciana (Spanish rice with mussels, Spanish chorizo, tender chicken and pork belly), Spanish Green Beans, Champinones al Ajillo (Spanish brown button mushrooms), Grilled Baguette with Olive Oil and Sea Salt, and Flan de Naranja.
