Join us in raising a glass to toast the outstanding food and beverage winners for the 2016 CultureMap Tastemaker Awards:
Restaurant of the Year: Mixtli
Mixtli is a progressive dining concept from Chefs/Co-owners Rico Torres and Diego Galicia. Mixing old-world and new techniques on staple Mesoamerican ingredients, the restaurant offers an educational experience for diners. Nearly everything is made from scratch and the menu changes every 45 days to showcase a different region of Mexico. Located in a boxcar in Olmos Park, Mixtli is for the adventurous San Antonio foodie served with a side of culinary history.

Chef Jason Dady has served as executive chef and owner of Tre Trattoria, Tre Enoteca, Two Bros BBQ Market, The DUK Truck, B&D Ice House, Shuck Shack, and Jason Dady Restaurant Group Catering.
