Trendy boxing gym punches into first San Antonio location
Rumble Boxing — a group fitness studio made popular by big name clientele like Justin Bieber, David Beckham, and Texas native Selena Gomez — is punching into its first San Antonio location in Stone Oak, with future plans for expansion throughout the city.
Rumble is renowned for its high-energy classes that make boxing accessible and fun, including some workouts that aren’t just traditional boxing, such as: HITT (High Intensity Interval Training), metabolic conditioning (MetCon), cardio, high intensity strength training, and more. The workouts are offered in a 45-minute, 10-round session.
The new San Antonio studio, located at 19141 Stone Oak Pkwy., also offers free introductory classes for first-time visitors. The intro class includes a tour of the facility, an introduction to the equipment, and a 30-minute, six-round workout.
Ambiance plays a significant part in the experience, and the gym emphasizes its state-of-the-art sound system plus its exclusive custom-curated playlists that cover both "old school and new school beats [that] join a community of inclusivity, empowerment, and results," per a press release. Of course, gym junkies can't resist a good party-like atmosphere while they work on their fitness.
The Stone Oak studio is the first of three total locations planned in San Antonio, which will all be owned and operated by local entrepreneur Bryan LeVrier.
"Rumble Boxing stood out with its dynamic energy and structured approach," LeVrier said in the release. "I'm pumped to bring this game-changing fitness vibe to San Antonio, shaping not just bodies but also a dynamic hub for health and happiness."
Since its opening in New York City in 2017, Rumble has expanded throughout the U.S. and now operates more than 80 locations nationwide, plus some in Australia, Kuwait, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. In Texas, there are also locations outside of Austin, Houston, and Dallas-Fort Worth.
Rumble will host its grand opening celebration from July 11-14, where prospective members can explore the studio during an open house and nab membership specials.
