Swine House Bodega

Swine House Bodega is the Alamo City’s first whole-animal sandwich shop, with all meats sustainably sourced from area farms. The local focus is no mere gimmick. Owner Joe Saenz seeks to bring diners closer to the food they eat by highlighting the labor that produces it. It's open weekdays for breakfast and lunch, with menu items that rotate but always feature biscuit sandwiches made with White Lily flour, cultured butter, and house-rendered lard. For lunch, Swine House switches over to New York-style subs, like a classic meatball sandwich.
