The Saddle Light Center is a nonprofit organization that offers professional equine therapy to the disabled population in the San Antonio area to improve self-esteem and quality of life. The center's mission is to provide professional equestrian therapy for children, teenagers, and adults with neurological, orthopedic, learning, emotional, or other disabilities.
The Saddle Light Center seeks volunteers to help with weekday therapy sessions and horse care on the weekends. For more information, go here.
EquestFest is Saddle Light Ranch's annual family-friendly festival benefiting The Saddle Light Center for Therapeutic Horsemanship. Activities include pony rides, a petting zoo, a silent auction, raffle, food, and "lots of horsey stuff." All funds raised go towards Saddle Light Ranch's horses and equestrian programs.
