Voices for Children of San Antonio expands the community's capacity to respond to current and emerging needs of children through purposeful and strategic advocacy that improves programs, practices, and policy.
Ways to help include: volunteer at early childhood training events with registration, spread the word about Voices and its mission, and attend community events.
Badges, Bags & Bling! is a fabulous evening of fun, food, and fundraising. Local law enforcement, SAFD, and more model donated merchandise (jewelry, handbags) to raise funds to help the most vulnerable children in need. Congress on Children in September lets you spend a day with Voices for Children and multiple community partner agencies learning information on the current needs of the community with special presenters, a legislative panel discussion, and a local presenter discussing the emerging needs of the community.
