Did you know San Antonio has a wealth of Thai restaurants to choose from? We are so thankful for that. After many nights of taking out and dining in, here's a list of our favorite Thai restaurants in this city.

Bangkok 54 Thai Cuisine
Bangkok 54 is a family-owned restaurant that showcases authentic Thai cuisine. Dishing out some of the best drunken noodles in town, Bangkok 54 has a large menu with tasty appetizers, mains, and specialties. Chef specials include crispy duck, tom yum noodle soup, pineapple fried rice, and more.

Mon Thai Bistro and Sushi
This Alamo Heights restaurant is more of an Asian-fusion eatery, but its Thai food is superb. Favorites include pad wun sen, pad Thai, pang na scallops with yellow curry, and a whole lot more. If you're not feeling Thai food (or want to have a global feast), order from the Chinese or sushi menus.

Thai Bistro & Sushi
Its unassuming facade hardly reflects Thai Bistro's flavorful food. Favorites include pad Thai, pad see ew, red curry, and basil chili chicken. Though the restaurant also offers sushi, we prefer to stick with the authentic Thai dishes. Save room for the coconut rice with custard for dessert.

Thai Dee
Don't judge Thai Dee by its lackluster exterior. This restaurant has some of the best Thai food in town — it's so good that on Friday and Saturday nights you're bound to wait outside for a seat (no reservations here). The menu features all of the classics; favorites include pad Thai, three flavored fish, red and green curry, and fried pork rib with sticky rice. Bring your own bottle of wine for a minimal corkage fee to help wash down some of that spice.

Thai Topaz
This family-owned Thai restaurant boasts clean Thai cuisine. In addition to favorites such as pad Thai, pad see ew, and yum nua, the chefs dish out some tasty original recipes such as spicy mango delight, Thai Topaz broccoli, and spicy basil fried rice.
