The Rocky Horror Show follows the weird and wonderful adventure of the newly engaged Janet (Alison Hinojosa) and Brad (Alonzo Corona), who find themselves lost on a cold, rainy night. The madcap, musical mayhem begins when the couple takes refuge in the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Ginger Minj), a transvestite who is hosting the annual convention of visitors from the planet, Transsexual.
The highlight of this classic production is audience participation. Callbacks are allowed and encouraged. Prop bags will be sold at the theatre for $5, but no homemade props can come into the theater for safety issues. Dig out your fishnet stockings and stiletto heels for the show – costumes make everything twice as much fun. There will be a costume contest on October 31. The costume contest winner will receive a Meet & Greet with Ginger Minj. Patrons under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to be allowed in the show – mature language and sexual content abounds.
