Krause’s Café will present a series of Masskrugstemmen Competitions. Masskrugstemmen, aka bier stein holding, is an age-old Bavarian strongman/strongwoman competition where each person holds a liter of German beer, by the handle, straight out in front of their body for as long as they can. The last person still holding their liter of beer, wins.
The winner of the Krause's final will get an all-expense paid trip to compete in the Las Vegas Masskrugstemmen, against competitors from around the country. The winner in Las Vegas then earns a trip to compete in the NYC Masskrugstemmen. If someone is strong enough to win in NYC, they then win a trip for two to Munich, Germany.
Contestants receive their choice of Hofbrau beer and the liter stein to take home. Win or lose, contestants get to keep the stein and, of course, drink the beer.
