This free performance will feature mesmerizing movement in the beautiful setting of downtown San Antonio’s Travis Park.  Open to the public, the family friendly Ballet in the Park is a perfect evening for dance enthusiasts and those looking for a unique downtown experience.

The dance highlights will include excerpts from Swan Lake and Flower Festival in Genzano. The latter is by Danish choreographer and ballet master August Bournonvile, which dates back to 1805. Next on the program is an exciting work by Artistic Director Willy Shives.  His Tropical Fiesta combines Latin rhythms and Mexican folk music. No passport required for this tropical experience. In addition, Shives will premiere Solace, a poignant pas de deux featuring the music of John Williams.
