San Antonio native Noël Wells, best known for her role on the hit Netflix show Master of None and as a cast member on Saturday Night Live during its 39th season, will premiere her new film, Mr. Roosevelt, which she wrote and directed. Wells was born in San Antonio in 1986, attended Memorial High School in Victoria, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.

In Mr. Roosevelt, struggling comedian Emily Martin (Wells) returns to her college town of Austin to see an ill friend and is forced to come to terms with her past while staying with her ex-boyfriend and his
new girlfriend.

Tickets to the event include the screening of Mr. Roosevelt with Wells in attendance; a live Q&A with Wells after the film; an acoustic performance by Wells after the film; an afterparty in the theater, which includes two drinks; bread buffet (you'll understand why when you watch the film); and more surprises.
