AVANCE has been building families and community in San Antonio for over 45 years and strongly believes that parents must be their child’s first and most important teacher. AVANCE's purpose is to develop strong and stable families, ensure healthy children, and promote economic self-sufficiency in families.
You do not need prior experience to volunteer at AVANCE. Opportunities range from clerical support to program personnel and becoming a parent-child education program participant. To volunteer through AVANCE's citywide volunteer partners, head here.
