Kinetic Kids are children from all walks of life who experience challenges associated with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down syndrome, autism, Asperger's syndrome, brain tumors, cancers, or other neurological disorders. The organization was established to provide health, recreational, and educational services to children and their families. Kinetic Kids offers unique experiences through physical and creative activities to children with special needs who may otherwise be excluded, and in doing so, fosters courage, self-esteem, pride, and joy.
Kinetic Kids is always looking for additional support to assist the organization and its programs. Volunteer opportunities range from helping with seasonal programs and one-day events to assisting with program flyers and public relations. For more information, head here.
The Kinetic Kids EXPO & Super Summer Carnival, specifically for children with special needs and their family members, is a day full of carnival-style games, inflatables, trackless train rides, free food, adaptive activities, sports, and more.
